On this edition of “Inside UNC Charlotte”, Artist/Activist TJ Reddy talks about the exhibit, “Everything is Everything”, on display at The Projective Eye Gallery at UNC Charlotte Center City through August 20.

For five decades, the artist and activist, poet and performer TJ Reddy has challenged, educated, and inspired the Charlotte community and beyond, through the power and beauty of his paintings and words. The Projective Eye Gallery is proud to present a retrospective of Reddy’s life of creativity in Everything is Everything June 30 – August 20, with an opening reception on July 20.

TJ Reddy is an alumnus of UNC Charlotte, receiving undergraduate degrees in history and sociology and a masters degree in education. While at UNC Charlotte, he helped to form the Black Student Union and the Africana Studies Department. His papers are housed in the J. Murrey Atkins Library Special Collections
